Etsy Goodness: Sophie Hines Lingerie
Bonjour.
To put this post into context: I love Etsy. It’s generally the first place I check when I’m in the market for… well, almost anything! Be it clothing, jewelry, random trinkets, gifts, stationary… you name it and Etsy probably has it in a quirky hand-made fashion! However, I rarely check Etsy for lingerie related wants simply because my size is unlikely to be found . The other day I decided to search for bralettes though, just by the rare chance that I might find some comfy wireless bras in something close to my size.
…And I might have actually found some? What?!?!
Sophie Hines lingerie may be my answer to comfortable lounge lingerie with androgynous styling (though certainly not all of her designs fall into that category) at a modest price point. Sounds too good to be true, right?
Well, it might be, but I’m definitely willing to give them a shot once I have the cash to spare. The measurements for the size small are surprisingly similar to my own, so I’ll be looking forward to this Christmas season when I have some spare cash to order a bralette or two, and am perhaps even more excited to report back to all of you with my results.
Now the only question is with so many fantastic bralettes and the option for custom designs, which ones do I order?! Decisions, decisions…

Sophie Hines mint cotton and leather bralette… I’d probably custom order this puppy to be leather-free though personally
All images are from Sophie Hine’s shop.
Are you excited to hear more about Sophie Hines? Any of the designs appeal to you as much as they do me?

When I saw the pic of the basic black and grey bra, I immediately started scrolling around on your post going, “The link! Where is the LINK?”
I mean, I know none of the standard sizes will fit me, but if I can talk to her about a custom order (which, the convo is open in another tab as I type this)….
I would LOVE to have a couple of bras like this for lounging around the house, sleep (especially PMS sleep), and low impact yoga days.
TOMGirl Apparel is even more androgynous, I’ve seen them on a few other bra blogs as well. They seem to be marketed as “push-up”, although they do seem to be wireless. Depending on how they run, you might not even be sized out of a 28G (US).
Interesting! I’ll have to check them out then, thanks 😀
More people should start making wireless bralettes for D+ sizes, and I love how Sophie Hines seems to.
These bralettes are adorable! It’s a shame that more companies aren’t offering cute options like this, especially for smaller bust customers. I have quite a few women who hate underwire but wear an A-D cup size in need of something sexy. These would be perfect!
