Panache Andorra, Unexpected Love
I remember the first time I saw the Panache Andorra… well actually, I don’t, because I didn’t care for it at all.
But once I started getting more comfortable with sheer bras and lace, it started catching my eye. It looks like it could be a wonderfully comfortable everyday bra, while still maintaining a pretty, lacy appearance. After I read Fussy Busty’s review of the Andorra, I couldn’t quite get it out of my head, but I was telling myself I probably wouldn’t bother buying it because blah blah blah blah. The other day, R.K and I were out and decided to check out one of Toronto’s boutiques, Secrets From Your Sister. If you’re in Toronto and are unsure of your bra size or just feel like getting a fitting, go there! I went to the location on Bathurst and it was a great experience. It was low pressure, comfortable, and the selection was nice. I tried on the Andorra while I was there and was completely smitten. The stretch lace is so so soft, and the shape is rounded yet natural and quite perky. I got to try the black, pearl and lagoon colours in the full-cup style, and the lagoon in the plunge style. I preferred the full cup personally, just made me feel more secure.
I still wasn’t sure if I would buy it, but just my luck when I checked Figleaves and found that every colour Andorra is on sale! Well, I guess the “luck” could be good or bad. It’s good for my boobs, bad for my bank account. I ordered the pearl and black colours, because unfortunately the beautiful lagoon was sold out in 28FF, which is my best fit in the Andorra. So for anyone interested in ordering this bra, I suggest sizing up in the cups. The band runs quite tight, so it’s a great option for those of us looking for something that feels like a 26 bra.
I hope to eventually find the lagoon andorra on ebay in my size, but if it doesn’t happen that’s fine as well. Hey Panache, how about a forest green andorra as a future colour? Pretty pleeaaase?
So glad you love it! The lagoon is a color that is TO DIE FOR. This is my absolute favorite bra. It gives me the best shape and lift out of any of the bras that I own š
I think my only complaint (and tell me if you have this problem, too?!) is that the straps tend to twist. They start to twist at the front, by the top of the cup, and can twist all the way up to the shoulder. As a whole, the straps are pretty narrow. Maybe I just don’t have them tightened enough?
I am so jealous that you got these bras at such a good deal (and I see it’s still on sale, too). I paid full price š¦
Woohoo Andorra! š I have it in purple (also to die for!!), lagoon, and black….Although, the pearl is on my Christmas list š
I really hope I can get the lagoon colour eventually on ebay, it’s so beautiful! For the time being though, I may have my eye on the purple colour which has popped up on ebay…
I can’t speak to the twisting straps unfortunately since I’ve only tried it on in a fitting room. I’m guessing this is the kind of thing that happens over the course of the day, right? I’ve not had this problem with thinner straps in the past, but I’ll report back and let you know if it happens!
The purple is worth it! I love it so much!
And sometimes the strap twists right away (before I even have a shirt on) and others, it’s as the day wears on. It may be that the straps sit too wide on my shoulders and are getting knocked around by my arms. You’ll have to let me know what happens! š
